Franz Cizek
claimed that “Art produced by the children have more intrinsically aesthetic
value”. Children will make the art with some significant discoveries. Children
will voluntarily produces unusual art with some styles. He proved this by his
personal experiences through his observations.
By keeping that claim (“Art
produced by the children have more intrinsically aesthetic value”) in
his mind he started one private art school for children with so many
difficulties. He intervened his theory and provided with refined
(sophisticated) adults concepts & brought the attractive qualities which
are nicely suitable for the children’s art. He is trying to make children to
take free choice & free expression. His teaching is highly directive in
nature & he became inspiration for many artist- teachers & Individuals
to develop the Free-Expression (A New Art Pedagogy). Each artist teacher
expressed belief that “Child is an Artist with Natural expressions & innate
potential for art” adults is to destroy those innate potentials and natural
expressions that why he use to select sensitive individuals who are artists
themselves.
He compared his theory his Rousseau, In Rousseau philosophy he find adult guidance, but in his theory he is avoiding adult influence on child and making them to take free choice.
